Completing a Read
After your club meets to discuss a book, you can mark the read as complete and have members log their participation.
Logging your participation
Each member can record whether they:
- Read the book
- Partially read it
- Did not read it
Members can also leave a rating (1–5) for the book. Ratings are aggregated into the club's overall stats.
Adding comments
The comments section on each read is where members share their thoughts. You can comment at any time — before, during, or after the meeting. Comments support replies, so you can have threaded conversations.
Marking a read as complete
The host or a club admin can mark a read as complete from the read detail page. This moves the book into your club's completed history and updates the club stats.
Completing a read does not lock anything — members can still add comments, update their participation status, or change their rating after the read is marked complete.
Archiving a read
If a read was created by mistake or the club decided not to go through with it, an admin can archive it. Archived reads are hidden from the main reads list but can be restored later.
